Exo is holding barbarian training again, this Saturday, 12PM at Bathesda, in Central Park.
Classes will be held at the regular time of 4PM this Sunday the 5th.

Spring Donation Based Programs!

Through out the Spring NYPK is proud to announce that will be rolling out different programs from our weekly Saturday morning training Sessions to our Monthly Beginner Jams, all we ask is that you show up prepared to work, and if you can donate some money to the cause.
Our first program will begin Saturday May 30th at 10:45 am With Barbarian Training!!!!! at Bethesda Fountain, in Central Park. Exo will lead an intense workout guaranteed to challenge your current physical limits and push you closer to your overall PK goals; So come on out and have fun while progressing like never before. Outdoor classes begin this Sunday

This Sunday April 26th, we will be holding the first outdoor class for 2009. Class is being held in the usual spot at the Brooklyn Banks. The start time is 4PM. Check the classes page for more info, and to sign up.

Etre Parkour Trailer
Last fall we spent some time working with Ryan Barry, shooting footage for his NYfilm academy thesis. The result was a 20 minute documentary. We're going to try and get it online as soon as we can, but in the mean time, heres the trailer on youtube.

Streetmovent Session wrapped
This Saturday we spent a few hours at a workshop with our Danish friends form Streetmovement. I got to go back and participate as a student, it was a nice change, and a lot of fun.

we would like to congratulate our very own Rell. Our long Island native was featured as stunt double to the lead actor in a new commercial recently shot for Sterling Bank. It was shot during the fall, and Rell did an amazing job, and the commercial came out nicely. Expect to see the piece on nypk's youtube page soon.

Santa PK part two
Its a wrap
NYPK Liceum Performance wraps to a packed house.
Well the guys, and ladies, did a superb job putting on a show along side DecaDance, at the Brooklyn Liceum. The show was well received, and ended on a high note, with some nights requiring additional seating. Great job to everyone involved. Just wanted to give the guys public appreciation of a job well done

Fake Parkour related Death
We are somewhat relieved, and angered to announce that what we long suspected to be a hoax, was infact a hoax, prepetrated by some Greek Traceurs, who got there 15 minutes in the worst way. We're glad we waited for proof before putting up the news.

Trace Gathering
Our very own Exowas at this year's gathering, coaching wih none other than Danny Ilabaca. Trace happens to be the biggest annual Parkour related Gathering in the UK. It went down with the usual crazyness, the famed rainy weather known for the part of the world.

Some sad news, the biggest independant global resource for Parkour has been shut down amidst much hearsay.
