Something a little different
Super awesome Photograther Chris McGrath (Getty Images) spent some time last winter shooting some of here at NYPK. The result was a multimedia piece thats very different from the usual Parkour related media. We had a blast working with McGrath, and look forward to working with him again in the near future.

Community Performance
Some of the NYPK community is putting on a show at the Brooklyn Liceum. The project, headed by Irish, is a collaboration between traceurs and an all female hip hop crew.

Mirror's Edge madness + NYPKWell we happened upon Gamedialy's offices for a little hands on time with the Parkour inspired game "Mirror's Edge". Naturally we were asked to run around, but never before did I have to consider cubicles, while people were working in them. In the end it was tons of fun, and we got an early crack at a really well done game. Click for the details +vid. |

Site Development! October re-Vamp
We're moving on up, Im just building the new site now, soon we'll be at version 4, and Ill be hacking away at it until its done. Since Ill be building the site by the end of the week. We're setting a lunch date for Halloween! ... see ya then.

Vive la France!
Our very own Exo has been in Europe, specifically France, where hes been training hard in Lisses with a steady stream of international traceurs. He had the opportunity recently to train with Laurent and some of the other Yamakasi for a week. Click here for his brief from abroad. As of now Exo is in the UK, training with all sorts of cool people, many familiar names in the Parkour world, expect updates soon.

Fake Parkour related Death
We are somewhat relieved, and angered to announce that what we long suspected to be a hoax, was infact a hoax, prepetrated by some Greek Traceurs, who got thier 15 minutes in the worst way. We're glad we waited for proof before putting up the news.

Trace Gathering
Our very own Exowas at this year's gathering, coaching wih none other than Danny Ilabaca. Trace happens to be the biggest annual Parkour related Gathering in the UK. It went down with the usual crazyness, the famed rainy weather known for the part of the world.

Parkour.net shut down
Some sad news, the biggest independant global resource for Parkour has been shut down amidst much hearsay.

NYPK is the first and official home of Parkour
in New York, New Jersey and the surrounding metropolitan area. Our goal is to help guide practitioners toward their own path, and to discover the art and respect it as we do.
