So After Months of Will they won't they The DOT Have Finally Started Shutting down the Banks. But apparently they won't be shutting down all of it,.... at least not past 6 months. The DOT's official statement is bellow
The New York City Department of Transportation is performing rehabilitation and painting of the Brooklyn Bridge. Work commenced in January of 2010 and will continue until 2014. In order to facilitate thereconstruction and associated painting work, the contractor will begin to mobilize in the area betweenPearl Street and Park Row on the north side of the Manhattan approach of the Brooklyn Bridge, as shown in the area below, on Wednesday March 31, 2010.

Just letting you guys know that I (Oasis) just wrapped up the test for my training certification for the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I did very, very well. Its a tough, very thorough, but fair course, and I encourage you guys out there that are interested in weight training for Parkour, or learning in general to drop me an email and ask me questions, and for those of you who wanna take your own certifications, I encourage you to do so.
The Yamakasi will be making their first trip to the US, working with Parkour Horizons. It will take place in Columbus, Ohio over Memorial Day weekend to lead a three day seminar. The first day of training, Friday (May 28). If you can, make it out to this one, should be a solid weekend.
Here's a nice video, which feels like a throwback to the days of big moves, as opposed to the tech/flow movement thats been huge lately. Im not saying you should go off and start taking huge drops! Im not.
